Leading the Way: The American Junior Chianina Association Board of Directors

The American Junior Chianina Association Board of Directors is made up of 12 elected junior members who serve three-year terms as ambassadors for the Chianina breed. Board members are the leaders of the junior program. They help plan signature events like the National Junior Heifer Show and The Summit Leadership Conference, and they represent the breed and the association at state and national shows, leadership conferences and other industry events across the country.

Serving on the board is both an honor and a responsibility, and it pays off. You'll gain real-world experience in event planning, leadership and communication, and you'll strengthen your teamwork skills alongside fellow junior members. You'll also build lasting relationships with breeders throughout the American Chianina Association, connections that can open doors well beyond the show ring.

Serving on the AJCA Board is more than a title. It's an experience that builds leaders, strengthens friendships and prepares you for whatever path you choose, whether in the agriculture industry or beyond.
